Managing Anxiety 101
Understanding anxiety and learning practical tools to navigate it — with compassion, patience, and hope.
What Anxiety Is
Anxiety is your body’s natural alarm system. It’s meant to protect you, but sometimes it goes off when you’re not in real danger. It can show up as racing thoughts, a pounding heart, restlessness, or even stomach trouble. You’re not “broken” — your nervous system is just on high alert.
